Physician for Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery
Location: Concord, North Carolina
Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC seeks an academic Hepatobiliary Pancreatic (HPB) Surgeon to join its existing practice of one Surgeon and one Advanced Practice Provider. This practice is an extension of the Atrium Health – Carolinas Medical Center Division of HPB Surgery. It is fully integrated with the Atrium Health HPB Surgical Program. Faculty are expected to delivery modern care with advanced surgical approaches , engage in the Divisional research activities as well as provide teaching for medical students, surgical residents, HPB fellows and other surgical fellows. Physician will have the opportunity to provide care in all aspects of general surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, open and lap hepatobiliary surgery including liver and pancreatic resections, and Whipple. There is also opportunity for additional Upper GI surgical Oncology patient care.
As a member of the Atrium Health HPB Surgical program, this position will have the opportunity for further advanced surgical laparoscopic, robotic and technology training as well as provide additional support to Atrium Health – Carolinas Medical Center (Charlotte, NC), HPB service as needed.

Qualified candidates should be:
- Advanced GI Surgical Oncology and/or HPB Fellowships essential
- Board certification in Surgical Oncology is highly regarded
- Interested in patient-centered, value-based delivery of care
- Clinical research and resident / fellow education
