Atrium Health is the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas and operates one of the most successful Urgent Care and On-Site Care networks in the Southeast.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Work/Campus Care Solutions team as a floater between primary care, workers' comp, and occupational medicine. This will focus on coverage within Center City & West Charlotte.

Position Highlights:

  • Must be able to float to clinics noted at above locations
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend, if needed
  • Hours: Between can vary 5:30AM-6:00PM; 24 hours/week (Flexible)
  • Additional staff may include: RN and/or CMA on staff
  • Practices see traditional acute episodic care and full primary care for ages 6-month old until retirement age
  • Some practices perform occupational medicine services, specialized physicals and workman's compensation cases
  • After hours call coverage, phone call access only, approximately 1 week every 3 months

Education/Certification/Experience

  • NC Licensure and DEA
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • DOT Certification (must obtain after hire if not already certified, within first 90 days)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Must be able to work autonomously
