Family Medicine Physician - China Grove
Location: China Grove, NC
Medical Doctor, Family Medicine, Carolinas Physicians Network, Inc. d/b/a Atrium Health Medical Group, China Grove, NC. Devote time, attention, knowledge and skills to patient care for the benefit of patients. Service in Practice location, and assume such patient assignments, on-call duties, committee assignments and other administrative concerns. Attend to patients in designated location for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Provide hospital, emergency room and call coverage to patients of Practice in rotation with other Physicians. Utilize best efforts to provide quality care and to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction. Meet periodically with the Practice Medical Director and administrators responsible for the practice regarding equipment, facility and personnel needs. Provide professional clinical direction and supervision to clinical employees directly responsible to Physician, and to provide input to the practice’s medical direction and manager to review and evaluate the performance of those healthcare professionals. Make Physician’s medical services available to all patents who present themselves at the Practice of other care facilities in need of and seeking Physician services during the hours the physician is scheduled to be on duty without regard to gender, race, religion, national origin or ability to pay. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care. Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, or examination results. Monitor patients' conditions and progress. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients. Coordinate work with/of nurses, pharmacists, assistants, specialists, therapists and other health care providers and medical staff. Supervise one (1) clinical team member (Certified Medical Assistant). M-F 8 am to 5 pm and on-call rotation with two (2) other providers. Requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited school of Medicine or foreign equivalent and unrestricted license to practice medicine in state of North Carolina (Medical Board License); American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine certification; and DEA license.
