Atrium Health is recruiting a BC Neurocritical Care experienced PA/NP to join our growing team of Neurohospitalists in Wilmington, NC for our affiliate, New Hanover Regional Medical Center. - Provide direct patient care in the Neurosciences ICU including both Neurology and Neurosurgery patients
- Plan and accomplish treatment goals, shorten length of stay, and improve patient outcomes
- Wide degree of patient care autonomy/latitude
- Practice independently and in collaboration with attending physicians, nursing and other members of the health care team to provide specialty care to critically ill patients
- 100% Inpatient, open ICU
- Neurosciences is the fastest growing service line
- Masters Degree or Doctoral Degree in a Critical Care or Acute Care Practitioner program, minimum of 1 year practice experience as a Neurology PA/NP is required
