Experienced Primary Care APP Opportunity at Myers Park Pediatrics
Location: Charlotte, NC
Myers Park Pediatrics – Charlotte, NC Atrium Health Levine Children's in Charlotte, NC is currently looking for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Myers Park Pediatrics, the primary ambulatory teaching site for LCH pediatric residents and for students at the Charlotte campus of the UNC School of Medicine. The group currently consists of 5 faculty and 5 APPs. This position is a .7 FTE working 3.5 days per week within the hours of 8am-5pm.
Job responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Patient care for a diverse, multilingual, underserved population in the largest safety net pediatric practice in Mecklenburg County
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with varying acuity
- Occasional weekend attending coverage in term nursery (once every 5-7 weeks)
- At least 2 years of primary care pediatric experience outside of training
- Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
- Commitment to serve indigent and immigrant children
- Spanish language skills are a plus
